FoodOp and Dagrofa Foodservice launch Digital Assistant to reduce admin workload in professional kitchens

Food wholesaler Dagrofa Foodservice and technology company FoodOp have entered into a strategic partnership to make life easier for chefs in professional kitchens.

Co-pilot for professional chefs

The new digital assistant, Dagrofa Foodservice Maduniverset, is designed to help chefs with menu planning, culinary inspiration, and climate reporting.

The Digital Assistant is the result of a new strategic partnership between Dagrofa Foodservice and FoodOp, a tech company founded in 2020. FoodOp is specialized in software for professional kitchens, helping with everything from purchasing, menu planning, and driving sustainability.

Buy ingredients for your menu in one click

Several software modules from FoodOp have been integrated with Dagrofa Foodservice’s webshop, enabling kitchens to explore culinary inspiration, place orders, budget with live prices, and get instant carbon reports on their food & beverage purchases.

Michael Christensen, CEO of Dagrofa Foodservice, says:

”Lack of staff and time are some of the biggest challenges facing foodservice businesses. With Dagrofa Foodservice Maduniverset, we are accelerating our ambition to make running a professional kitchen much simpler. Through our partnership with FoodOp, we can now deliver a solution that makes a real difference in chefs’ daily work.”

Nichlas Saul, CEO and co-founder of FoodOp says:

”This partnership is a milestone for FoodOp, as our Digital Assistant becomes accessible to thousands of Danish kitchens. Our mission is to eliminate some of the biggest time wasters in the kitchen.”

He adds:

”With a single click, chefs can now handle purchasing, budgeting, and sustainability reporting”

Official Launch the 10th of September

The Digital Assistant will officially be launched on the 10th of September at Tap1 in Copenhagen during Madscenen – for professionelle, which is Dagrofa Foodservice’s annual inspiration fair for the foodservice industry.
